Andrea Joy Cook (also known as A.J. Cook is a well-known Canadian actor. Cook is best known for her character Jennifer Jareau in CBS's crime drama Criminal Minds, where she performs the role of a Supervisory Agency. The show has been running since as of 2017, and the show was in its 13th Season. Born in Oshawa Ontario in Canada Cook was inclined towards acting right from the beginning. In the TV show Goosebumps which she was a part of, she played only a minor role in the beginning of her professional career. In 1999, she made her debut on the thriller The Virgin Suicides. The film, however, was not a huge success. The following year she started playing on the American Canadian drama series Higher Ground in which she played one of the leading roles. In the following years, she was spotted on the crime thriller police Criminal Minds which earned her lots of attention and fame.
