Awkwafina is an American actor and musician. Her first release was humorous, cleverly written music that tackled issues like racial identification as well as sexuality. Later, she broadened her fan base to Hollywood. She was born Nora Lum to Chinese and Korean immigrant parents in Forest Hills Queens her first experience with music came via trumpet. It also included viral hits, such as body-positive Queef and a wink-y home tour NYC Bitche$. The final track was connected directly to Awkwafina's NYC travel guide, published in 2015. A musician and author was in her portfolio, she decided to set her sights on a third endeavor actor. She has appeared in films such as Neighbors 2, Storks as well as Bad Rap. In the year 2018 she got an array of noteworthy performances, which included Dude Ocean 8 and Crazy Rich Asians. In June, she released In Fina We Trust.
